Yours Truly Books is a personalised children's book service. We create AI-generated, professionally printed books based on details you provide about a child.

What data we collect

When you create a book, we collect:

We do not collect photographs. We do not ask for a child's surname, school, or any sensitive personal data.

How we use your data

We do not use your data for marketing unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Children's data

We take the privacy of children very seriously. The personal details you enter about a child (name, age, appearance) are used solely to generate the book you ordered. This data is not shared with third parties other than our print partner (Lulu) and our cloud infrastructure provider (Vercel/Supabase), and is not used for any other purpose.

We do not knowingly market to children or create accounts for children.

If you are a parent or guardian and wish to request deletion of data relating to a child, please contact us at hello@yours-truly-books.com.

How long we keep your data

Order information (name, email, shipping address, book title) is kept for up to 2 years for accounting and customer service purposes, then deleted. Book content (the generated story and illustrations) may be kept indefinitely as an anonymised record.
